Sack Sparrow (born February 7, 2035) is an American football defensive tackle for the London Royals of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

"Sack was born to a mother and father in Bridgetown, Barbados. His father was a privateer and Sack would often go on excursions with him as a young teen. He owned the largest and most luxurious private warship on the entire Island, including a weight room where he spent the majority of his time. Unfortunately, Sack and his Father crashed into a mysterious island one day and were stranded for 2 years. While on this island which appeared to somehow be stuck in the past, he witnessed a game called Pok-A-Tok. He quickly came to idolize the biggest star on the island, Rob Tikalowski, who took the young Sparrow under his arm. Together with his father and Rob he helped build a raft to help return back to civilization. In the last game before they left, he witness Rob get hurt, and stepped in to help fufill his role on the team, helping his fallen hero back to the village after. He played with the same fire in his belly that Rob taught him and he carries that to this day.

When the raft eventually arrived safely back in the mythical land of North Carolina, his father decided his son's privateering days were over and he went to a normal high school for his senior season. With his connections, he acquired grades for his first three years and looked for a sport that captured his desire to fill that fire in his belly and settled upon the sport of Football, where he starred as a Defensive Tackle and Tight End for his only year in high school."

College career

"Sack walked on as a tight end prospect at the nearby Eastern Carolina University and barely saw the field as a freshman, catching 7 passes for 69 yards and playing on special teams. During the offseason, he was told that his hands and frame were just not suited to the tight end position and if he wanted to continue on the team, and possibly at the next level he would need to make a shift to either playing defense or along the offensive line.

That offseason he worked closely with the defensive coordinator and they determined that he could be an x-factor, playing all over the defensive line as a sack specialist. His unique athleticism and size would allow him to come in and line up at positions that the team identified as weak in certain schemes and to help the team succeed. Unfortunately for him, his season ended early after only 7 games due to a fracture in his left shoulder after another player landed on him.

His junior year was a better year as he started off in a battle for the starting Defensive Tackle spot, and although he would initially lose this battle, it was mostly an even timeshare until about the halfway point when the player he was fighting with for playing time got hurt and he took over the starting position. He really took off in this back half of the season and set new career highs in all of the major defensive stats.

For his senior year, the buzz had started to spread and he was named a preseason All-Conference. There were talks of a potential future in which he was a potential ISFL player but there's buzz for any successful college player and very few were actual selected. He put up his most successful season by far in his senior year starting the entire year and staying helpful. Still even with the dominant numbers put up the question of competition level came up as this was not against top competition, but he felt like he was a surefire pick to go in the upcoming DSFL draft. "
